Selena Gomez’s new movie “Spring Breakers” is filming now. She stars with James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Benson. IMDB describes the film as “Four college girls rob a restaurant to go on their spring break. They are arrested and put in jail. Then they are bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who wants them to do some foul work in return”

Selena Gomez first became popular in movies such as “Beezus and Ramona”, “Princess Protection”, “Horton Hears a Who”, “Another Cinderella,” and “Wizards of Waverly”. James Franco has been in movies and on “General Hospital”. Vanessa Hudgens has been on television in “High School Musical 1″ and “High School Musical 2″. Ashley Benson has been in movies such as “Bart Got a Room”.

I think Selena Gomez is an up and coming new star. She can sing and act. She is pretty and the girlfriend of Justin Bieber. This new movie sounds like a serious acting part for Selena and not a comedy. Selena Gomez may get bigger, better, and very different parts so she can stretch and grow as an actress. I wouldn’t be surprised if she became an actress of the caliber of Meryl Streep or Angelina Jolie who play many versatile characters.

Hollywood starlet Lucy Hale, who bears an uncanny resemblance to actress Selena Gomez, was photographed this week in Brazil, soaking up the rays with a sexy co-star.

Hale and Pretty Little Liars co-star Shay Mitchell are enjoying downtime in Rio, and snaps of the lovely lasses in various states of undress are heating up the Internet.

Click here for several photos of Hale frolicking poolside in a sexy black two-piece swimsuit. It appears the 22-year-old stunner is merely on a pleasure trip, and has tweeted several times this week about her sun-splashed Rio escapades.

She also issued a mea culpa to fans she ignored in the airport.

“To all of you at the Rio airport…AMaZING! I’m sorry I couldn’t stop. They will make sure we get the gifts. I love you!” she tweeted Wednesday.

Doesn’t the constant public scrutiny become annoying for these actresses? They’re just trying to get away for a while, and they are dogged by tabloid photographers.

While, Hale is becoming a major star in her own right, she’s also noted for her remarkable likeness to Gomez, Justin Bieber’s gal pal. They do have very similar facial features, but frankly, Gomez is a bit curvier that the PPL actress.

Selena Gomez ditched movie filming so she could rush to Justin Bieber for his 18th birthday. Two days ago, Disney starlet Selena Gomez just dropped everything on her new Spring Breakers movie set,and rushed to be with her man Justin Bieber in Los Angeles,California for his 18th birthday. Needless to say,Justin appeared to appreciate it greatly as he greeted her with a great,big,kiss on the cheek.

The two stars were both heavily dressed up for the occasion. Selena sported a strapless cranberry-colored,cocktail dress,while Justin sported a checkered sports jacket and slicked hair. The celebrity guest list was huge too.

Some of them included: Kim Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, Alfredo Flores,and more. They definitely partied it up that night. Don’t worry. Selena will get back to filming her new,big “Spring Breakers” flick with mega stars Vanessa Hudgens and Pretty Little Liars’ Ashley Benson in no time.

She even reportedly jetted in from Florida, where she’s filming Spring Breakers, to celebrate the Biebs’ 18th birthday with him on Friday. However, despite their ongoing love story, Gomez was recently pegged as having a great connection with another person, make that two people. Instead, Gomez, 19, is rumored to have a great relationship going with Vanessa Hudgens, 23, and Ashley Benson, 22, the pretty threesome who are all starring in the upcoming Spring Breakers movie. Executive producer Wilks Walker recently revealed, “A lot of interesting things are going to happen… We are thrilled with the cast. There should be a natural chemistry with the girls… it’s great that Selena, Vanessa and Ashley are all friends. This film is just magic.” Indeed, on-screen and off-screen chemistry between a film’s stars can determine how successful the movie is—just look at The Twilight Saga with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson!

Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson Chow Down at Cracker Barrel

Selena Gomez and Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson were spotted chowing down at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in St. Petersburg, Florida, earlier this week. The ladies are there with much of the rest of the cast and crew while filming takes place on St. Petersburg Beach.

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Selena was familiar with Cracker Barrel restaurants but Ashley had never eaten at one. The former Wizards of Waverly Place star

The two young ladies had lunch at Cracker Barrel and then spent some time browsing in the restaurant’s large gift shop. Both girls bought some candles before heading back to the set.

Cracker Barrel is a very inexpensive place to dine, and they serve what is considered to be homestyle cooking. Lots of comfort food is available at Cracker Barrel. These are the kinds of places Selena Gomez tends to dine. She saves the upscale restaurants for very special dates with boyfriend Justin Bieber or for special events. She’s really a very down to earth girl.
