Selena Gomez dons a Maria Lucia Hohangown while submerged in water in her first fragrance ad campaign.
“I don’t really understand why I decided to be underwater, but it looked cool!” the 19-year-old singer and actress told People.
“The water is actually lit from underneath, so it made it look pink and purple, like the colors of the bottle,” Selena shared. “I wanted it to look like I was swimming in fragrance.”
“It’s very romantic, very sensual. But it’s fun and beautiful at the same time,” she added.
Selena‘s namesake perfume, which hits Macy’s stores and Macys.com this month, has notes of raspberry, chocolate, and vanilla.
